About Katie

Before taking on Virginia luxury real-estate, Katie Zarpas spent her life building esteemed relationships in the film industry. As an accomplished assistant director, she worked with highly regarded actors and directors in New York City and California–leveraging her connections to reach new heights and to grow professionally. Her film resume includes work with Woody Allen and Irwin Winkler; Robert De Niro, Annette Bening, Halle Berry, Sean Astin, Samuel L. Jackson, Richard Pryor, Rob Lowe and many others.

Intrigued with making hotel and travel arrangements in the film industry, Katie decided to pivot in to the real estate industry in 2005, where she quickly excelled through the ranks. Championing her entrepreneurial mindset, dogged-enthusiasm, and incredible work-ethic, Katie sold 28 homes in her first year alone, and was recognized by the Hampton Roads Realtors Association with its Rookie of the Year Award. With over a decade of real-estate experience, Katie now has more awards than she can count, having since earned HRRA’s prestigious Gold, Platinum and Diamond awards, and consistently ranking in the top 1% of Realtors nationally.
